How to Change the Collection Your Website's Quick Search Uses

The quick search block on your website can be customized to search through a Product Collection you've specified giving you even more control over what products your customers search through on your website. For example: If you have a preferred vendor list, create a Product Collection that includes only those suppliers, then change your quick search to look through those products. Here's how: 

1. In your DistributorCentral dashboard click on Websites
2. Choose Hosting Manager
3. Click Manage to the right of your website
   
4. Click Edit in the top right corner to open your website's editor
   
5. In the website editor, find your quick search block in your visual editor and double-click
   • OR find Quick Search in the left menu and click the Pencil icon to open the search editor
     
     
6. In the Quick Search editor, change the selection drop-down under Select a collection to search through to the Collection you'd prefer the search to use
   
   
7. Click Done
   
   
   
8. Save your changes
