Adding Rows and Blocks within the Web Editor

What are rows and blocks?

Rows contain blocks and both display content on the website page you are currently editing. Basically, they are the page layout displayed visually in a vertical format view.

How to add a row: (a row is created to house blocks for the content displayed on your website.)

  1. In the website editor, go to the panel on the left and find Current Page
  2. Under "Current Page", click the "Add Row" button at the bottom and select the Row Type you want to use (“Normal” is default), then click Done

How to add a block: (a block is created within a row and provides multiple types of content to display on your website.)

  1. In the website editor, go to the panel on the left and find Current Page
  2. Under "Current Page", click the "+" icon to the right of the row you wish to add a content block to.
  3. In the "Select Block Type" pop up window, click on the block type you want to use.
  4. After you have clicked on the block, the pop-up window will disappear, and you will see the new block added last in the row under the left panel, and it will be highlighted in blue.

To delete, click the pencil icon to the right of either the row or block and then click the red trash can icon in the bottom left-hand corner of the dialog box.

Back inside the web editor, remember to hit the blue " Save" button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen to save all your changes.
